Psychiatrist & Medical Director Opportunities – Inpatient Psychiatry – Fort Wayne, IN
Join a reputable 120-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, serving adult and geriatric patients. Two full-time roles are available: Staff Psychiatrist and Medical Director/Psychiatrist. Both offer stable schedules, strong clinical support, and competitive compensation.
Position Highlights (Both Roles)
• Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility
• Inpatient census: ~12–16 patients/day
• Daily treatment team with social work and UR support
• Collaboration with a full-time NP
• Occasional PHP/IOP or telepsychiatry consults
• Optional call/weekend coverage
Additional Leadership Duties for Medical Director
• Lead medical staff and support quality initiatives
• Serve as liaison with hospital leadership
• Optional NP supervision
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive base salary + productivity bonus
• Medical Director includes additional stipend
