We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to enhance our team dedicated to providing comprehensive psychiatric care within a community-based program. Position Overview:

As a Psychiatrist with our organization, you will deliver expert mental health assessments, treatment planning, and medication management for individuals with co-occurring mental health and intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). Operating within a flexible schedule up to 10 hours weekly, primarily during morning hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you will be an integral part of our patient-centered approach. This role involves willingness to be in-sight for at least one minute monthly and participation in mandatory morning meetings, contributing to collaborative care efforts in a community-based program.

Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license and board certification in psychiatry
  • Proven experience in mental health assessment and psychiatric treatment
  • Strong knowledge of dual diagnoses, particularly in IDD populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with community-based mental health programs
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Additional training in behavioral health or addiction medicine
  • Bilingual abilities or multicultural competence

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Relevant board certifications and state licensing in Pennsylvania
  • Prior experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses in community settings
  • At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to participate in community outreach and sight visits at least once per month
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, with a 12-hour shift length
  • Ability to travel within the assigned community area when necessary
