Psychiatrist – Adults Only (Oshkosh, WI)

We are seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to provide locums inpatient Behavioral Health coverage in Oshkosh, WI. This role includes daytime inpatient rounding with overnight call coverage. Providers may also assist with adult cross-coverage at Ascension St. Elizabeth (Appleton) as needed.

Assignment Details

• Location: Oshkosh, WI

• Patient Population: Adults only (no pediatrics)

• Shift Times:
  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Night Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM (remote call)
  7 on 7 off schedule
  

• Unit Capacity: 15 beds (max census)

• Average Daily Rounding Census: 8–12 adult patients

• Average Admissions: 1–2 per shift

Night Call Expectations

• Average 5–6 calls per night

• Address patient status changes, medication questions, and new admissions as needed

• Calls may come from Mercy and/or adult patients at St. Elizabeth

Requirements

• BC/BE Psychiatrist (Adult or General Psychiatry)

• Comfortable with inpatient behavioral health

• Ability to cross-cover adult patients at St. Elizabeth if needed

• Wisconsin license or willingness to obtain
