Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in an outpatient-only setting, with flexible hours that support a balanced and fulfilling clinical practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered mental health care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary model.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing management of mental health conditions.

  • Provide medication management and collaborate on psychotherapy plans when appropriate.

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, primary care physicians, and advanced practice providers.

  • Participate in the development of behavioral health initiatives and quality improvement programs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative clinical environment focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution.

  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

  • Experience: Prior outpatient behavioral health experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Licensure: Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.

  • Commitment to evidence-based care and integrated behavioral health models.

  • Proficiency in electronic health records.
