Job description

Job description We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in Missouri. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with a contract length of 171 days, offering day shifts Monday through Friday and one weekend per month, all 8am–4:30pm, with no call or night responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have recent adult inpatient experience and hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
  • Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled

Additional Information
