Job Description:
Compensation : $180000 - $200000 Job ID : 26431
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm.
- Part of outpatient department that has 7 adult psychiatrists and 1 child psychiatrist.
- Adult only care - med management appointments and new patient evaluations
- Expect 1-2 new patients per day, have therapy services on site
- Clinically rich environment (primarily medicare/medicaid) with a variety of psychopathologies and patients facing many economic pressures and social determinants.
- AllScripts EMR.
- No call required, all emergencies handled by call services and hospital psychiatrists on call.
- Academic environment - typically 3-4 PGY3 residents in the clinic at a time, opportunity to teach if desired.
Job Requirements:
- Active NY License.
- Residency training in Psychiatry, subspecialists will be considered (Geriatric/Forensic/CL/Addiction).
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification required.
- New residents graduating in the next 12 months are encouraged to apply!
