Job Description:
Compensation : $250000 - $275000 Job ID : 29204
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- Monday to Friday: 9:00- 17:00.
Provide Consult-Liaison (C/L) services for a 160-170 bed Med-Surg unit and assist in launching a new 8-bed Med/Psych unit.
Manage approximately 3 new consults per day, plus ongoing care for 3-4 admitted Med-Surg patients.
Work alongside a PGY-2 or PGY-4 resident at all times, with occasional collaboration with a Psych NP.
Deliver high-quality psychiatric care within the Med-Surg unit (No ED coverage).
Offer psychotherapy oversight for residents, if interested.
Job Requirements:
- Active NY License.
- Fellowship Training in C/L Psychiatry.
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification Required.
