Our client is seeking a Child & Adult Psychiatrist Medical Director for a growing community health center in Willimantic, CT. Job Description:


Compensation : $245000 - $300000 Job ID : 36061

Job Function:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to both adult and pediatric patients, including routine care and crisis intervention.

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, perform medication assessments and adjustments, and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Educate patients on treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through ongoing clinical assessments and monitoring.

  • Collaborate in the development, review, and improvement of clinical and agency policies and procedures.

  • Maintain responsibility for developing and implementing individualized care plans for all assigned patients.

  • Cooperate with an interdisciplinary team including primary care providers, social workers, and counselors to ensure integrated, holistic care for patients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and agency standards.


Job Requirements:

  • CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required.
  • Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Required.
  • Bilingual language skills in Spanish preferred, but not required.
