This part-time outpatient psychiatry opportunity in Southwestern Pennsylvania offers exceptional flexibility, strong compensation, and a collaborative care model that lets you focus on what matters most: your patients. With no call, no inpatient coverage, and just two clinic days per week, this role is built for psychiatrists seeking balance, autonomy, and meaningful community impact.


Position Highlights

  • 100 percent outpatient psychiatry with no hospital rounding or call responsibilities
  • Treat children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Manage mild to moderate psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD
  • Work within a collaborative behavioral health team alongside psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and case managers
  • Athena EMR is fully integrated for streamlined documentation and workflows

Schedule and Workflow

  • Two 8-hour clinic days per week
  • One day in Washington, PA, and one day in Uniontown, PA
  • Flexible weekday scheduling so you choose the days that fit your lifestyle
  • 60-minute new patient evaluations
  • 15-minute follow-up visits
  • Consistent patient volume of 10 to 12 patients per day once established

Compensation and Benefits

  • $1,577 per 8-hour day
  • Choice of employed W-2 or 1099 independent contractor structure
  • Signing bonus and malpractice coverage available for employed physicians
  • Practice environment intentionally designed to minimize administrative burden

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist
  • Comfortable providing outpatient psychiatric care across age groups
