Primary position will be on the inpatient unit with periodic floating to the medical units and emergency department in a Consult Liaison capacity, with shifts at both facilities.

Opportunity Highlights:
- Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients on our 75-bed unit at PMC (55 adult, 20 child/adolescent) and 40-bed adult unit at RMC
- Flexible schedule with 182 shifts required per year, split between facilities
- Psychiatrists will have access to a full spectrum of care options for individuals with treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders ranging from child/adolescent to geriatric age groups
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Patient population: child, adolescent and adult patients for acute care, with inclusion of geriatric psychiatry
- Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
- Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy and support staff
- Call rotation
