Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its growing behavioral health team in Shelton, CT .
This full-time, permanent position offers a collegial practice environment, flexible scheduling, and a strong emphasis on integrated and coordinated patient care. The Psychiatrist will provide diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning in a setting that values compassion, communication, and excellence.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide ongoing medication management and supportive psychotherapy.
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Promote preventive mental health strategies and community wellness efforts.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
