Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Toledo, OH 43414
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: At least 6 months from projected start date
Job Responsibilities
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for the following duties (including but not limited to):
• Evaluate, examine, diagnose, and treat individuals with psychiatric conditions.
• Prescribe medication and provide in-depth psychotherapy and counseling (e.g., psychoanalysis, behavior modification).
• Monitor and coordinate professional and paraprofessional staff in areas related to psychiatric care.
• Review patient records for accuracy and completeness; recommend improvements in staffing and organization.
• Conduct and participate in educational lectures and seminars in psychiatry or related fields for healthcare staff.
Key Qualifications
• Valid Ohio State Medical License (per Section 4731.13 of the Ohio Revised Code).
• Completion of an approved residency training program in psychiatry.
• At least 5 years of medical practice limited to psychiatry, or recognized psychiatric credentials by the appropriate medical associations.
• Doctoral degree in medicine (MD or DO).
• DEA certification for the state of Ohio.
• Healthcare-professional level CPR certification.
