Inpatient Psychiatrist – Raleigh, NC Area
Schedule Flexibility | 7 On / 7 Off Option | Competitive Compensation
A well-regarded facility in the Raleigh, North Carolina area is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their behavioral health team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated provider who is experienced in acute psychiatric care and committed to delivering high-quality mental health services.
Position Details:

Location: Raleigh, NC metro area

Schedule Options: Day shifts, call coverage, 7 on / 7 off, or flexible scheduling available

Patient Load:

~12 patients per day
-
2–4 admissions/day
-
~4 discharges/day
-

Start Timeline: ~90 days to credential

Call: Included and shared with team
Requirements:
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Experience with:
-
Involuntary commitments
-
Seclusion and restraint protocols

Involuntary medication administration
