Coverage Needed
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 6 months from start date
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
Clinical Details
- Provide overall direction and leadership for mental health services
- Participate in civil commitment proceedings
- Assess and provide DSM diagnosis
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Provide counseling and disease process education
- Supervise and mentor mental health staff
- Evaluate and recommend methods for improving operational efficiency
- Accept on-call status
- Provide direct casework services and counseling
- Assist in developing treatment and therapeutic programs
- Prepare progress reports and discharge recommendations
- Serve as mental health staff liaison
- Maintain confidentiality of inmates/residents
- Coordinate professional services provided by contract personnel
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and group activities
- Utilize established policies and procedures

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or related clinical area
- Appropriate certification or license
- Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position
- Valid driver's license
- US Citizenship required for ICE clearance
- Subject to thorough background and credit investigation for clearance
