Annual Salary: $150k-$200k (varies depending on years of experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our client’s community health team. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse patient population, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support whole-person care. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values serving underserved communities and making a meaningful impact in behavioral health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations for patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric care, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and stabilization support when necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and developments in psychiatry.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in New York.
  • Experience working in community health, outpatient, or integrated care settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care.
