Locums Psychiatrist in Texas - No Call or Weekends
Correctional psychiatry assignment with options near Houston, Austin, Conroe, and Tyler. Weekday-only coverage with long-term potential.
Highlights
- No call, no weekends; Monday to Friday only
- Full-time, 40-hour workweek; 4x10s available

Practice Setting
- Correctional health within secure facilities
- Adult male patients only
- Mid-level psychiatric support staff
- In-person and telepsych options available in Austin and Houston
Schedule
- Weekdays only, 6:30a-3p or 9:30a-6p
- 4x10s possible at most locations
- Full-time candidates only
Cases and Procedures
- Psychiatric, physical, and neuro exams
- Medication and admission due process
- Forensic experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active Texas license or IMLC LOQ
- BLS, DEA, and clean background required
