  • Specialized Focus: Provide direct care and leadership within Young Adult (Failure to Thrive) and Eating Disorder programs.
  • Schedule: Flexible 4x10s model with potential for 12 remote days per week.
  • Impactful Work: Drive clinical outcomes while helping patients move toward long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses (DSM-5), and medication management.
  • Lead the psychiatric team, serving as a clinical mentor and resource for complex cases.
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and therapeutic staff to ensure individualized, evidence-based treatment.
  • Balance medication management with a focus on minimizing controlled or addictive medications when clinically appropriate.
  • Participate in program development, quality initiatives, and assigned committees.
  • Serve as a liaison between psychiatric staff, executive leadership, and treatment teams.
  • Support transitions of care, ensuring patients are clinically prepared for discharge or step-down.
  • Provide on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school; fellowship training in psychiatry required.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Active Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain) and unrestricted DEA.
  • DEA waiver for Buprenorphine prescribing (or willingness to obtain).
  • Preferred:
    • 5+ years experience in an Eating Disorder treatment setting.
    • Experience with young adult psychiatric populations.
    • 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Medical administrative background, including program oversight.

Why Join?

  • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a nationally recognized leader in mental health and addiction recovery.
  • Career Growth: Proven pathway for internal advancement into leadership.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Competitive salary, relocation assistance, health insurance, CME support, malpractice coverage, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
