Psychologist – Outpatient Program
Full time
Bethlehem, PA
We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our outpatient behavioral health program. This role involves providing counseling, psychological assessment, and testing to support individuals, families, and groups. Services span across adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples, with care tailored to meet the needs of each patient population. Working closely with psychiatrists and other members of a multidisciplinary team, this position ensures patients receive high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care.

Work Schedule
* Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
* No call, weekends, or holiday requirements
* Option to work remotely one day per week
Key Responsibilities
* Perform psychological assessments, testing, and counseling across individual, family, and group settings
* Conduct diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis intervention when needed
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and quality standards
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions aligned with treatment goals
* Conduct risk assessments at intake and as clinically indicated
* Stay current with professional literature, training, and continuing education
* Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and departmental initiatives
* Support community outreach efforts such as wellness education, support groups, and seminars
* Offer telehealth/virtual therapy services when appropriate
Education & Training Requirements
* Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical Psychology or related field required
* Neuropsychology training or rehabilitation psychology background preferred
* Completion of internship and postdoctoral training in relevant areas strongly preferred
* Experience in diagnostic assessments, clinical interventions, and neuropsychological evaluations
* Ability to conduct pre-surgical epilepsy evaluations (including Wada testing) a plus
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills grounded in evidence-based practice
* Competence in psychological and neuropsychological assessment
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Commitment to professional ethics and standards of care

* Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Capacity to engage in therapeutic and assessment activities requiring focus, observation, and interaction
