Position Type: Locum Psychologist – Child & Adult (Rehabilitation)
Overview
We are seeking a licensed Rehabilitation Psychologist to provide coverage across two locations (split schedule: 3 days at one site and 2 days at another). This role involves supporting patients and families in a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program.
Practice Highlights
• Weekday shifts only – 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Provide psychological services to patients and families in inpatient rehabilitation
• Responsibilities include:
– Educating families and team members on patient psychological status
– Recommending intervention strategies for psychological deficits
– Participating in discharge and destination planning
• Population served: Adolescents, Young Adults, Older Adults, Frail Elderly
• Travel required between two nearby campuses
Candidate Requirements
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology – Required
• Concentration in Rehabilitation Psychology preferred
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience – Required
• Experience with behavioral techniques – Essential
• Family therapy experience – Preferred
• Pennsylvania Psychology License – Required
• CPR Certification – Required
Schedule & Coverage
• Start Date: ASAP (Credentialing timeframe: 60–120 days)
• Weekdays only, no call coverage required
• Split schedule: 3 days at one site, 2 days at another nearby site
