Inpatient Psychiatrist – Full-Time (Weekdays Only) | Georgetown, DE
We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in historic Georgetown, DE. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a structured weekday schedule with no weekends and no on-call responsibilities—providing an excellent work-life balance.
Position Highlights:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Setting: 100% Inpatient (on-site only; no telehealth)
Call/Weekends: None
Patient Volume: Approx. 18 patients per day
Total Beds: 99
Current Team: 2 Psychiatrists, 3 Advanced Practice Providers
EMR: WellSky
Treatment Focus: Anxiety, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and psychotic disorders
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 0–5 years of residency) – Required
Delaware medical license or willingness to obtain – Required
DEA registration – Required (prior to start)
CSR/CDS license – Required (prior to start)
BLS Certification – Required (or willing to obtain)
Familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy – Required
Permanent candidates only – Locums not accepted
