Job description
We are seeking a full-time Adult/Child Psychiatrist in the Family Resource Center located on the campus of our Women and Children’s Hospital. You have the option of either employment or as an independent contractor. Professional services may be provided both in-person as well as remotely via telehealth.
Requirements:
- MD/DO
- BE/BC in Adult/Child Psychiatry
- Ability to obtain a WV medical license as well as privileges
Monday through Thursday schedule. No weekends. Flexible work schedule. After hours’ call is triaged by frontline staff, and you are only called for your own patients if there is an emergency.
Psychiatric Evaluations/Counseling services offered at the Family Resource Center are:
- Counseling for individuals, couples, adolescents and children, psychiatric evaluations/medical interventions
- Counseling that deals with family issues such as:
- Parenting different ages and stages
- Couples
- Divorce/blended families
- Women's health issues
- Pregnancy Loss
- Grief and loss
- Stress management
- Substance use disorders /recovery
