An established behavioral health facility in Georgetown, Delaware is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite inpatient role. This is a Monday–Friday, days-only position with no call and no weekends. The psychiatrist will work within a collaborative team environment in a modern 99-bed hospital serving diverse patient populations.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based treatment for a range of psychiatric and behavioral health disorders
Collaborate with a care team including 2 psychiatrists and 3 advanced practice providers
Ensure safe and effective treatment planning, medication management, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate documentation using Wellsky EMR
Contribute to the mission of delivering high-quality mental health care to the community
Qualifications
Delaware medical license (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED
DEA & CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) – REQUIRED
BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) – REQUIRED
Onsite only – no telehealth, no locums applicants
Permanent interest required

anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and psychotic disorders
Proficiency in pharmacotherapy and involuntary commitments
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
EMR proficiency (Wellsky)
