Outpatient Psychiatry - 1 Hour From Milwaukee

seeking a compassionate and collaborative outpatient psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team in Wisconsin. This position offers a flexible schedule, a supportive practice environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-focused setting.

Key Highlights

  • 32-hour workweek with flexible scheduling
  • Option to work remotely one day per week
  • Outpatient-only practice with no inpatient responsibilities
  • Average of 10–12 patients per day
  • The patient base is largely established, offering continuity of care with a minimal number of new patients.
  • Call rotation of 1:9, which involves managing patient messages and medication refills for providers on PTO, during business hours only
  • Integrated care model with experienced support staff
  • Epic EMR for streamlined documentation and coordination

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for a diverse outpatient population
  • The ideal candidate should be comfortable prescribing Suboxone, Clozaril, and long-acting injectable medications.
  • Coordinate care with internal team members
  • Participate in call rotation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, collaborative environment

  • Located an hour from Milwaukee and Green Bay and about 90 minutes from Madison
