Position Overview:
As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management tailored to the unique needs of children and teenagers. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, play a key role in clinical supervision, and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Manage ongoing medication treatments, monitoring efficacy and side effects to optimize patient outcomes.
- Serve as a Collaborating Physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants working within child and adolescent programs, providing clinical supervision and mentorship.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated, holistic care.
- Offer expert consultation to clinical staff on complex diagnoses and treatment strategies.
- Lead or contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient safety.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as professional standards.
- Engage actively in case reviews, documentation, and team communication to support optimal patient care.
Work Environment & Scheduling:
- In-person position; telemedicine options are not available.
- Schedule a flexible, one-day-per-week commitment (8 hours), ideal for work-life balance or supplemental income.
- No on-call, weekend, or overnight duties required.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Valid Ohio medical license and appropriate prescriptive authority.
- Proven experience in pediatric mental health and medication management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical standards and quality patient care.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $140 to $200, commensurate with experience.
