Physician Physiatrist (Interventional Pain Specialist) opening in New York!

Overview:
An established, progressive academic health system in Central New York is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Specialist with training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM\&R). This is a full-time position with Visa Sponsorship (J-1 & H-1B) available.
Position Highlights:
* Group-employed, salaried physician model with competitive compensation and a robust retirement plan
* Join a growing division currently composed of four physiatrists
* 100% outpatient role with no inpatient or hospital call responsibilities
* Large referral base supported by over 100 primary care clinicians
* Focus on musculoskeletal and interventional spine care including EMG, sports medicine, osteopathic manipulation, and non-surgical orthopedics
* No opioid medication management required
* Interventional procedures primarily fluoroscopic-based
* Opportunity to incorporate MSK ultrasound for guidance and diagnostics
* Potential for EMG, if desired (not required)
* Access to research support through affiliated institutional research centers
* Option to provide sports team coverage in the region
* Collaborative environment with close ties to Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Hand Surgery, and other specialties

Compensation:
* Base salary range: $247,743-$339,756 + performance-based incentives
* Sign-on bonus up to $100,000

Qualifications:
* MD, DO, or MBBS
* BC/BE in PM&R
* New York State medical license (or eligibility)
