Psychiatry Opening in Olean, NY 70 miles south of Buffalo Adult Psychiatrist- Inpatient Unit
- Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist for IP Behavior Health Unit
- Team is comprised of 2 MD and 1 APP, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Nursing Assistants/Safety Assistants
- Locum/Per Diem Weekend Coverage
- 14-Bed Locked Inpatient Unit
- Daily group therapy and individual sessions
- Experienced discharge planning staff Clinical Responsibilities
- Attending Psychiatrist to round daily on patients, admit and discharge to behavior health unit.
- Supervise APP's with occasional student rotations.
- Call is 1 week per month.
- Duties include direct in-patient consultation services and emergency room patient consults in conjunction with the mental health team.

- Medical degree from an accredited university.
- A valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number.
- Board certified in Psychiatry and completed residency in an ACGME accredited Psychiatry residency program. The Hospital/Town
