Job description
We are seeking a California-licensed Psychiatrist for a full-time/part time , hybrid position, providing services across two outpatient clinic locations in Gilroy and Campbell, CA.
The role requires working 1 day per week Gilroy, CA, 1 day in Campbell, CA and 2 days virtually. Typical working hours are from 9 AM – 5:30 PM or 10 AM – 6:30 PM, with some flexibility as needed.
Position Type: Hybrid Full-time or Part-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams.
- Participates in clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Provides psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation.
- Provide support for after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary.
- Maintains licensure, attends required training, and represents the agency at city/state meetings
- Comfortable working with Children and Adults.
Qualifications:
- MD from an accredited institution.
- Current California Medical Board License.
- DEA registration to prescribe medications.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with children.
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
- Valid California driver’s license.
