🔹 Position Highlights:

🗓️ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with 1:4 weekend call

đź’ˇ Inpatient-Only | Focus on adult psychiatry within a dedicated behavioral health unit

👩‍⚕️ Work with a multidisciplinary care team: APPs, RNs, social workers, and case managers

đź’Ľ Flexible scheduling & optional additional shifts for extra pay

🧑‍🏫 Academic opportunities available (teaching med students, residents, & fellows)

📍 Location: Muskegon, MI — a lakeside community with charm, low cost of living, and easy access to Grand Rapids
✅ What You’ll Do:

Complete psychiatric evaluations, manage diagnoses, and oversee psychotropic medication treatment

Participate in daily rounds and treatment planning

Collaborate with a fully staffed care team to deliver patient-centered care

Document care using Epic EMR
-
Mentor future mental health professionals in an academic setting (optional)
🎓 Who We’re Looking For:

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Psychiatrist (must be BC within 2 years of BE)

Active Michigan License Or IMLC
-
DEA and BLS Certification – required
-
Open to new grads and experienced provider
