About the Position

🧠 Position: Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
📍 Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
📆 Start Date: ASAP
🕐 Schedule: Flexible – Week on/week off OR two weeks on/two weeks off

🏥 Position Highlights:

• 📊 FTE: 1.0 (Full-Time Equivalent)

• 💬 Duties:

  • Daily patient rounds

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings

  • Provide consults and communicate with families

  • Complete timely documentation in Epic EMR

• 🤝 Support Staff Includes:

  • RNs, Mental Health Techs, OTs, SWs, and a dedicated Adolescent Psychiatrist

• 🎯 Patient Load: 12–18 per day

• 🧩 Case Types:

  • Suicidal ideation

  • Aggression and behavioral stabilization

  • General adult psychiatry

🛡 Malpractice: Covered
📆 On-Call Expectation:

• 1–2 weekday evenings/week

• 1 weekend/month

🔍 Requirements (Must-Haves):

✔️ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
✔️ Active North Dakota License or IMLC LOQ in hand
✔️ Adult Psychiatry Residency
✔️ BLS + DEA Certification
✔️ Clean background + ability to credential ASAP
