A behavioral health facility in Georgetown, Delaware is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join their inpatient team. This is a permanent, on-site position—no telehealth, no call, and no weekend responsibilities—providing you with a structured schedule and work-life balance in a historic, community-focused area.

🩺 Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours only

• Call/Weekends: None

• Patient Load: Average of 18 patients per day

• Setting: 99-bed inpatient psychiatric facility

• Team: 2 Psychiatrists, 3 APPs

• Treatment Disorders:

  • Anxiety, mood, and psychotic disorders

  • ADD/ADHD, personality disorders

  • Developmental and eating disorders

• EMR: Wellsky

• Involuntary commitment & pharmacotherapy experience required

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 5 years of residency) – Required

• Delaware Medical License – Active or willing to obtain – Required

• DEA registration – Active or willing to obtain – Required

• BLS certification – Active or willing to obtain – Required
