Adult Psychiatrist Opening in Olean, NY

  • Salary: $350-425K + Sign On Bonus
  • Olean is 70 Miles south of Buffalo
Opportunity Adult Psychiatrist- Inpatient Unit opening for a BC/BE Psychiatrist for our IP Behavior Health Unit. This Health Unit is a 14-bed inpatient unit that provides a multi-faceted approach to mental health treatment for patients 18 years and older. Unit Team is comprised of 2 MD and 1 APP Registered Nurses Licensed Practical Nurses Social Workers Mental Health Counselors Nursing Assistants/Safety Assistants Locum/Per Diem Weekend Coverage 14-Bed Locked Inpatient Unit Daily group therapy and individual sessions Experienced discharge planning staff Clinical Responsibilities Attending Psychiatrist to round daily on patients, admit and discharge to behavior health unit. Supervise APP's with occasional student rotations. Call is 1 week per month. Duties include direct in-patient consultation services and emergency room patient consults in conjunction with the mental health team. Opportunity for leadership available. A valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. Board certified in Psychiatry and completed residency in an ACGME accredited Psychiatry residency program.
