Great opportunity for several Psychiatrist to work full time to provide services necessary to perform onsite Psychiatry Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The range of psychiatric services as would be provided in a stateof-the-art civilian medical treatment facility
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Board Certified /Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Working Hours
is open Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. On call hours commence at 4:30pm and
concludes at 08:00am, Monday – Friday. Weekend inpatient coverage hours are from
8:00am – 4:30pm Saturday and Sunday.
Off-hours Coverage: Contractor must make the Contractor’s physician(s) available
on-call during all hours when the facility clinic is closed, including evenings,
weekends and holidays.
On-call contractor’s physician(s) must be available at all times for phone
consultations with VA residents and physicians.
On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site,
within 60 minutes.
