Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Outpatient Clinic)
Start Date: August 1, 2025
Job Summary:
The Memphis Medical Clinics are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide outpatient mental health services to veterans. This role includes work at multiple clinics within a 30-minute radius of Atlanta, GA. The Psychiatrist will collaborate with psychologists and LCSWs to deliver high-quality, comprehensive mental health care.
Responsibilities:

Perform psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans

Conduct 1-hour initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits

Provide psychiatric management and ongoing care for mental health conditions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate documentation in the CPRS EMR system

Promote mental wellness and advocate for veteran mental health
Patient Load:
-
Approximately 10 patients per day
-
1-hour evaluations for new patients
-
30-minute follow-up sessions
Requirements:
-
MD/DO with Psychiatry specialization
-
Active clinical experience within the last 6 months
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Any active U.S. state medical license accepted

U.S. Citizenship required

MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tetanus (Td), PPD, Flu Vaccination (current)
Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
