Job description Full time hours Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. (not to exceed 40 hours per week)
Provide treatment to the members of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Annual hours are approximately 1,872. 49 weeks per year 11 Federal holidays off.
Malpractice liability provided.

Job Responsibilities

Treat outpatients in individual, group, couples, and family modalities as appropriate, exercising professional judgment and using a range of clinical skills to include psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic approaches, recommendations for lifestyle/behavioral change and psychiatric medication management.

Mental Health diagnosis and plan of treatment.

Qualifications

Residency trained, Board Certified Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry.
Active medical license from any of the 50 states qualifies at this location, current and unrestricted DEA, and current BLS certification.

Working Hours

Monday through Friday, 8 hours between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. inclusive of a 30 minute or 1 hour uncompensated meal break)

This contract is until March 2030, when it will be up for renewal.

Skills

The Psychiatrist shall meet or exceed the industry standards in accordance with established principles, practices and ethics of the Psychiatric profession. The standards of the performance for all employees provided by the contractor shall reflect the degree and care, skill and learning expected of a reasonably prudent health care provider in the Psychiatric profession in the state of their practice.
