1099 Locums full-time provider needed
Job Responsibilities
Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans that may include therapy, medication management, and lifestyle recommendations.
Therapeutic Interventions: Implement psychotherapeutic methods and prescribe medication to correct chemical imbalances in the brain .
Monitoring and Adjustments: Regularly follow up with patients to monitor progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support during mental health crises.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed patient and clinical records, including treatment and medication administered.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in psychiatry by reading publications, attending conferences, and maintaining professional networks.
Qualifications
Prior experience working in public, community mental health and/or with complex patient populations (severe mentally ill, persons with substance abuse).
Working Hours
32-40 hours weekly. Will not consider candidates willing to do less than 32 hours/week.
