🔍 What You’ll Do:

Lead care for inpatients aged 8+ in a 14-bed psychiatric unit

Perform evaluations, H&Ps, admissions, daily progress notes, discharges

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary dream team: social workers, nursing staff, FNP, therapist, teacher

On-call support with Medical Director available by phone
🕒 Schedule & Coverage:

2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Thursday–Wednesday)
-
Daily hours: 8 AM – 4 PM
-
On-call: 6 AM – 10 PM during scheduled weeks
🎯 What You Need:

Board Certification in Psychiatry (Required)
-
Active ND license or IMLC (or we’ll help you get one!)

DEA & BLS required
-
1–2 years of inpatient experience preferred

Skills
Medication Management – Expert knowledge of psychopharmacology to safely and effectively treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
Risk Assessment & Safety Planning – Proficiency in identifying suicide, self-harm, or violence risk, and implementing safety protocols.
Team Collaboration – Strong ability to work with an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to deliver coordinated care.
Crisis Communication & De-escalation – Skilled in managing acute situations with calm, empathy, and clear communication.
