PERM Physician – Outpatient Psychiatrist in Schenectady County NY

Our client is seeking to recruit a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist located in Schenectady County, NY.

Job Description:

• The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient coverage for adult patients at the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
• Position hours are Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts;
• Call Rotation: Weekends – 1 weekend per month; Nights: Rotating Call
• Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing care that is team oriented
• Experienced candidates are preferred, but also accepting recent graduates working toward BC
• Not open to telemedicine
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Not accepting Locums candidates

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation Range: $255,000 - $310,000
• Starting Bonus

Submission Requirements:

• TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility and working toward BC) or Board Certified in Psychiatry - REQUIRED
• NY License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Experienced providers - PREFERRED
