Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist Locums Job | Brooklyn, New York
Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist for an adult inpatient locum tenens opportunity in Brooklyn, New York. This is an excellent chance to join a supportive team, with no night or weekend responsibilities.
Assignment Details/Requirements:
--Coverage Dates: June 2 – August 29
--Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
--Setting: 100% onsite (no telehealth available)
--No call
--Board Certification in Psychiatry (required)
--Previous inpatient experience preferred
Facility & Patient Information:
--Beds: 40-bed unit staffed with 4 attending psychiatrists
--Patient Population: Adults 18+ with a mix of mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use, and personality disorders
--Daily Census: 12–14 patients per psychiatrist
--Length of Stay: Average is 14 days (day rate compensation – no discharge pressure)
--EMR: Sunrise Clinical Manager
