Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Inpatient (Partial Day Program) Psychiatrist to join our comprehensive mental health team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting with physicians, nurses, LCSWs, and patient care coordinators.
Job Details
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Partial hospitalization program (max 8 patients)
- Patient intakes and crisis checks
- Typical diagnoses: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and depression
Serve as an attending psychiatrist
- Oversight of psychiatry residents and medical students
- Collaborate with two other psychiatrists managing inpatient and partial hospitalization programs
Back-up call: Approximately 2 nights/month
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Current Oregon medical license (or eligibility)
BCLS certification
2-3 years of experience in Psychiatry
Experience working with patients with chronic health conditions
Eligibility to work in the U.S.
