Inpatient Psychiatry opening in Phoenix, AZ Seeking an inpatient attending psychiatrist for our adult inpatient program. * Full-time * Outstanding work environment * Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of Board certification and must possess an Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment. * Very competitive compensation plan/benefits package * 4 weeks paid time off * 1 week CME time off with CME stipend * 10 paid holidays * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Life insurance, long term disability, AD&D insurance * 401K plan with up to 6 percent employer match * Paid medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage * The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients * Caseload is 10-11 patients * Duties include collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and teaching of rotating medical students, with faculty appointment available to the Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix Not-for-profit faculty practice plan owned and operated by physicians consisting of more than 400 providers who represent all the major medical and surgical specialties.
