We are seeking a Locum Tenens Psychiatrist in Iowa.
Locum Tenens Psychiatrist
Position Type:
Specialty: Physician - Psychiatry
Location: Iowa
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: PRN (as needed)
Start Date: TBD
End Date: TBD
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults and Adolescents (ages 6 and up)
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry, Hospital Consults, ER Consults
Responsibilities: Supervising APPs, providing direct patient care, and taking call
Required Procedures: Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion Therapy, Restraint Application
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: 2 Advanced Practice Providers
Days Per Month: As needed
On-Call/Weekends: As needed
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Psychiatry - REQUIRED
- IA License or IMLC - REQUIRED
- 2+ years of inpatient psych experience - Highly Preferred
- Inpatient experience - REQUIRED
- Experience treating patients ages 6 and up - REQUIRED
