Job description
UT Health North Campus Tyler is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to cover current staffing needs.
Start Date: January 13, 2025 (Credentialing process takes 90 days)
End Date: Ongoing
Rate: Competitive – Please submit your best rate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
- Rotational Night and Weekend Call:
- Night Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Call (48 hours): 5:00 PM Friday – 5:00 PM Sunday
The position may involve interaction with residents and medical students, and candidates must be comfortable supervising psychiatry residents. There may also be 4 outpatient appointments per week for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), typically scheduled for 4 hours in the afternoon.
Requirements:
- Active TX Medical License
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- PALS Certification
