Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team in Houston, TX. The Psychiatrist will perform psychiatric evaluations, treat patients with problems of personality, emotional adjustment, or mental illness.
Job Responsibilities
• Psychiatrist will also oversee the treatment performed by medical students and psychiatry residents; and instructs them in the typical patterns of progression of mental illnesses during treatment.
Qualifications
• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric and psychological practices. (Preferred)
• Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good health of our Veterans.
