Psychiatry Opportunity in Sioux Falls, SD
Seeking a BC/BE psychiatrist to join its team of 29 psychiatrists in providing exceptional behavioral health services.
Position Highlights:
Collaborative team includes:
- 16 adult psychiatrists, including geriatric and forensic specialists.
- 8 child & adolescent psychiatrists.
- 8 psychologists.
- 6 nurse practitioners and 2 social workers.
Flexible schedule with limited call:
- One weeknight every three weeks.
- Weekend call 2 to 4 times per year.
Facility Details:
Behavioral Health Center: a 110-bed inpatient facility opened in 2006.
Integrated outpatient clinic and psychiatry residency program attached to the hospital.
Teaching and Research Opportunities:
Teaching roles include supervising medical students and psychiatry residents (adult and child).
Access to Avera Institute for Human Behavioral Genetics for advanced research.
Cutting-edge tools and technology, including a CyP450 machine for liver enzyme testing.
