Inpatient Medical Director Opportunity - Transform Lives and Lead with Excellence

Join our esteemed health care team as the Inpatient Medical Director, a vital leadership role where your expertise in psychiatry will be the cornerstone in shaping our psychiatric services. This is a unique opportunity to blend clinical excellence with administrative acumen, in a role that is 60% clinical and 40% administrative. You will be at the helm of a dedicated team of approximately 7 providers, guiding and mentoring them to deliver unparalleled psychiatric care.
Your Role:
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (flexibility assured, focusing on quality care completion).
  • Patient Demographics: Serve a diverse age range from 8 years to adults, specializing in treating severely mentally ill patients in crisis, many with comorbid substance abuse issues.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.
  • Fellowship and Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Attractive Salary: $300,000 base with an additional $25,000 annual stipend.

Inpatient Services You Will Oversee:
  • Acute psychiatric hospital providing intensive care in a secure, therapeutic environment.
  • Specialized units for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Average hospital stay of 9-11 days, with 24-hour nursing care and intensive clinical interventions.
  • A multi-disciplinary treatment team including board-certified psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, psychiatric nurses, and more.
  • Comprehensive patient care including assessments, individualized treatment plans, and a range of therapies and educational programs.
