Pediatric Psychiatrist

The CHOC Specialists is seeking a full time Pediatric Psychiatrist with a special interest in autism to aid in the growth and development of the Thompson Autism Center at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). This position will work 50% in the Autism Center and 50% providing community mental health care. Responsible for providing psychiatric services to clients in a variety of clinical settings during scheduled hours. Scope of services includes outpatient and inpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services. Opportunities in quality improvement, community outreach, resident education and administrative activities are available and encouraged. We are a primary teaching location for the University of California, Irvine.

Successful candidate will be fellowship trained and board certified/board eligible in pediatric psychiatry and be eligible for an unrestricted California medical license.
