THE AREA

  • Lehigh Valley, PA is home to Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, as well as dozens of small towns – Emmaus, Nazareth, Hellertown, Bangor, and more – and picturesque boroughs, all peppered with parks, trails, and waterways ready for exploration. Steeped in pre-Colonial, early American, and industrial history, the region’s storied past became its uplifting present, bestowing visitors anything from Crayola® crayons and craft beer to Martin Guitars and museums, covered bridges, and nationally recognized events like Musikfest in the summer, PA Bacon Fest in the fall, and Christkindlmarkt, Lights in the Parkway, or Easton Winter Village during the holidays. A stay in Lehigh Valley will lift your spirits, too. Keep the good times rolling with exciting matchups on the ice or the outfield, great shopping experiences, and savor the flavors of the region, wine included. We’ve rounded up suggestions to put a smile on your face and remind you of why Lehigh Valley is an unbeatable place to visit, work, learn, and live.
  • Delaware County, PA is home to endless art, entertainment, attractions, eclectic shopping, and some of the country’s most beloved historical sites. Centrally located between Philadelphia and the Brandywine Countryside, Delco — as the locals call us — is an extraordinary destination that satisfies every taste and style. Delaware County is one of the most popular day trips from Philadelphia with its renowned historic sites, world-famous gardens, wine trails, sports centers, and some of the best dining and theater in the region. Visitors to “Delco” can see Lower Swedish Cabin, the only remaining log cabin of its kind; birdwatch and hike at the John Heinz Wildlife Refuge; follow in soldiers’ footsteps across Brandywine Battlefield; or witness the rigors of 18th-century life on a working colonial plantation at Ridley Creek State Park.
