We're looking for someone to join our team as an Psychologist (Outpatient) who: Conducts psychological screening, assessment and/or evaluations on all patients referred for examination and/or mental health treatment. Prepares treatment plans for all patients requiring specialized therapy. Coordinates with consulting psychiatrist to ensure patients requiring evaluation for medication, or re-evaluation of current medications, are seen by the psychiatrist/physician in a timely manner. Ensures the psychiatrist is aware of any information pertinent to the patient’s clinical condition. Interprets a patient's self-report of behavior and/or appropriate psychological tests. Delivers supportive services, consultation and educational programs for the department. Communicates clinical findings in writing, as well as through Mental Health consultation with organizational staff. Provides documentation in accordance with policies and procedures. Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
