We have many open needs for LOCUMS Psychiatrists ONSITE for Correctional facilities in Ione, California. The Psychiatrist will provide extensive psychiatric services and work in a review, evaluation, or consultative capacity. Our psychiatrists are able to focus primarily on clinical casework with no insurance to navigate or disability applications to complete.

**$325 per hour onsite in Ione, CA!! **

• Meet with mentally ill patient-inmates for crisis interventions, face-to-face interviews, etc.
• Provide clinical face-to-face interviews at cell fronts in inmate housing units.
• Conduct mental health evaluations including criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history to assess inmate’s current needs and make treatment recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 continuous months of recent experience
• MUST be able to speak and understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language.
• Current CA MD/DO License
• Current DEA Certificate
  

Schedule

• Full time: 8a to 6p, Mon - Thurs
• Part time: 7a - 5p, any 2 consecutive days of the week
