Join Cedar Hill Hospital, located just 15 minutes from downtown Portland, Oregon, in our mission to provide exceptional psychiatric care. We are a 94-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital with an outpatient center, catering exclusively to adults.

Position: PSY MD/NP
Duration: Initial 3-month ASAC start with extension option
Reason for Opening: Resignation of full-time provider due to relocation

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Weekend rotation: 1 in 4
• Willing to consider:
  • NP instead of MD
  • Part-time commitment (3-5 days per week)
  • Weekend-only provider (if travel is not required)

Responsibilities:

• Weeknight call for new admissions
• Manage an average daily census of 15-18 patients, with 3-5 new patients per day and 10-13 follow-ups
• Allocate 15-20 minutes for follow-up appointments and 45 minutes for new patient evaluations
• Average patient length of stay: 5-11 days
